Fred Riddle, CIT Director

1A6A5738-EditFred Riddle is a retired law enforcement professional with more than 38 years of experience in the military, private and public sectors. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, and is also a Vietnam War veteran in the U.S. army.

Fred started the Crisis Intervention Program in 2004 for NAMI. He travels South Carolina, training emergency personnel. He does the training for the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy for basic law enforcement personnel and communications officers.

He has also trained church personnel, libraries, hospitals, and detention centers around the state. All of these classes are certified for the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy and are free.
